- What is CarSourced Group?
- CarSourced Group is a private vehicle acquisition service based in the United Kingdom and sourcing internationally. Most of its work is off-market: rare, classic and collector cars, limited-production and homologation cars, and new-build manufacturer allocations, reached through direct relationships with owners, collectors and manufacturers rather than public listings. That is the Exclusive tier. A Standard tier covers everyday and performance road cars through the same trade network. It is run by Musa Bhola, founder of Moose Technologies Ltd, in partnership with Monarch Concierge Group.
- What does a car sourcing service actually do?
- A sourcing service works for the buyer instead of the seller. Rather than showing you the stock someone already has, it starts from your brief and goes looking, including at cars that were never advertised. You get a shortlist that has been checked before it reaches you, so you're comparing a handful of genuine options instead of trawling listings and filtering out the bad ones yourself.
- Are you a car dealer?
- No. We don't hold stock, we're not a party to the sale, and we never hold your funds or the vehicle at any point. The purchase is agreed directly between you and the seller. We find the car, verify what we can, and handle the acquisition on your side.
- How is this different from a broker?
- A broker is usually paid by, or works from the inventory of, whoever is selling. We're engaged by the buyer, so the brief we're working to is yours. That also means we have no reason to steer you toward a particular car, because we don't have one to shift.
- How much does it cost?
- Sending a brief is free, and so is reviewing or declining whatever we come back with. Our fee is only due if you go ahead and buy a vehicle we sourced. There's no upfront charge, no retainer, and no cost to walk away.
- What's the difference between Standard and Exclusive?
- Standard covers everyday and performance road cars, roughly a Clio through to an M3, sourced through the trade network and auction access. Exclusive covers rare, classic, and collectible vehicles, plus new-build manufacturer allocations, existing build slots, and cancelled allocations through direct manufacturer relationships. Exclusive involves buyer qualification, and proof of funds where the seller asks for it; Standard doesn't.
- Can you find a car that isn't for sale?
- Often, yes, and on the Exclusive tier that's most of the work. A large share of rare and collector cars never reach a public listing. Sourcing them means approaching known owners and private holders directly and asking whether they'd consider selling, which is a slower process than a search but the only way some cars change hands at all.
- How long does sourcing take?
- For a Standard brief, usually days to a few weeks, depending on how specific you've been and what's moving through the network at the time. Exclusive work runs longer and is far less predictable, because approaching an owner who hasn't advertised is not something you can put a deadline on.
- Do I have to buy whatever you find?
- No. A shortlist is a shortlist. If nothing on it is right, say so and we keep looking or stop, and you owe nothing either way.
- What is a Letter of Intent and why would I be asked to sign one?
- A Letter of Intent, or LOI, sets out in writing what you're looking for, on what terms, and confirms you're a serious buyer before anyone approaches a seller on your behalf. Owners of rare cars generally won't entertain an unverified enquiry, so the LOI is what makes the approach credible. It's signed by you and returned to us; we never sign or complete it on your behalf.
- Do you check the cars before I see them?
- Yes. Standard-tier checks draw on CarMate, an in-house used-car verification tool that reads a car's listing and history and pulls the actual salvage record behind a write-off rather than just the flag. It has already caught damage a standard history check missed on a real listing.
- Do you source cars internationally?
- Yes. CarSourced Group is based in the United Kingdom and sources worldwide. On the Exclusive side most cars are located abroad, and the relationships behind them are with owners, collectors and manufacturers outside the UK as often as within it. Where a car sits overseas we'll be clear about what that adds in time, cost and tax before you commit to anything, and we handle international delivery where it's needed.
- How do I start?
- Send a brief through the Standard or Exclusive page, or email enquiries@carsourcedgroup.com directly. Tell us the car, the budget, and the timeframe. Every enquiry is read by the person who will handle it, not a queue.
